I've been looking online for a pattern that would work for France's Children's Day outfit.
Seen here http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x137/Tanoshii_Chan/Cosplay/Cosplay%20Plans%202011/APH_France_ChildrensDay.jpg

Has anyone else found a particularly good pattern for this?
I was trying to find one that had both a collar and cuffs that looked similar to the original so I wouldn't have to alter that if it exists.
Also, I've only been able to search online, so maybe someone who has been to an actual store like Joanne Fabric's might have seen a good pattern for this coat there?

I am just looking for help in general in finding a good pattern.
I do not think I would be able to make my own pattern.

Can anyone help?

Maybe this pattern:

Hope it helps.

Simplicity has two: 3677 (http://www.simplicity.com/p-1970-costumes.aspx) and 4923 (http://www.simplicity.com/p-2198-men-costumes.aspx). You would have to add the collar part. though. Those patterns could possibly be modified for the under jacket/long vest-thingy, too.

I love when I hear 'simplicity pattern'.

The other McCall pattern seems to be out of print as well. So, kind of makes one learn towards simplicity. Thanks.

Cheap too. (and maybe even cheaper in Joanne Fabrics with a sale. :3 )
