Well for my next cosplay I'm deciding on doing Ganon from OOT and it's not going to be an easy task.

For the face I looked up prosthetics and I think I'm going to go with this mask (http://www.mostlydead.com/Foam-Latex-Prosthetics-Masks/c8/p651/Pervis-Pig-prosthetic-mask/product_info.html)

The only thing it lacks is the lower jaw Ganon has, but I think that can be worked around. For the body I'm taking the idea of making a muscle suit (http://www.5min.com/Video/How-to-Build-a-Muscle-Suit-39306312) and using that for the body/arms.

However after that, I am stumped. For the legs I was also thinking of applying the muscle suit idea, as for the hooves... I was thinking of maybe getting platform boots and have someone make/figure out how to make a cover that goes over the boots to match the hooves. I have no idea how to make the tail, nor the horns that go on his head.

For the ripped clothes however, I'm thinking of getting those commissioned. And for the wig I might be able to get a friend who can make me the hair.

So can anyone help me with this project? It'd be really appreciated =]

Here's an alternative (http://www.northfur.ca/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=83_86&products_id=332) latex mask that would give you a full snout, if that's the look you're aiming for.

Since the horns are quite large, I'd recommend going for a light weight material. You could carve them out of insulation foam or form them out of a light clay such as model magic.

For the legs/feet/hooves, look up how to make "satyr or fawn pants" or "digitigrade legs" (sorry, I don't have any links offhand). Good luck on the costume!

Thanks so much! I was able to find two tutorials on Youtube, one to make the hooves and the other to make the legs! I might be able to apply the same concept to the tail too.

I would suggest using the balaclava method for the head so you can get all of the details in there and have a moving jaw etc. It would also be cheaper than the latex option, although the fabric you choose could make it a little more expensive. I almost did this cosplay, and I would have just added foam to old clothes and covered them in faux fur or other fabric. If you search Ganon in the search bar on this sight you can look at Kanti Kane's version of Ganon, and that could give you some help with the hooves and random pieces.
