I'm not sure if this was already made- I looked for it, but couldn't find a thread, so I hope this isn't a burden. My question is, what are your takes on cosplaying original characters/fan characters/fanbabies?

Personally, I think if the character design is cool enough and the character isn't just some Mary-sue/Gary-Stu off the street, original cosplays are really cool. What about you guys?

Personally if I really liked a OC/FC that much I would do it even if it did look like a Mary-Sue/Gary-stu off the street...

But I get what you are saying... if you are going to do an OC, it might as well be something outstanding... otherwise you'd just appear to be walking around in your street clothes at an event.. heh...:D

I've got to agree, I think so long as the character is something interesting and worth looking at, meaning, you'll actually notice the character when they enter the room, then its great. Plus give them some background story and some depth! Otherwise, i really just cant stand OC cosplays;
