Thank you to everyone who came out to Kyara Fes. I think you all made a huge impact on a pretty small cosplaying community and I'm sure folks will be talking about you all for a few weeks at least ^^ I know a lot of my own friends really enjoyed your costumes... Facebook is already full of EVA shots and Thomas is glowing after his first cosplay experience.

The girls who participated tonight actually joined our after party based on a journal entry I wrote on cosplayer's archive a few weeks back. A lot of them came out ~just~ to meet you guys and it was pretty obvious that they had fun doing it.

Just as Ichi left to get on the train she told me to tell everyone, in English, "I love you all!!!" So, let's end it with that.

Ichi loves you all ^^

Iain's photos on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/#!/media/set/?set=a.10150205710267103.335170.508022102) (he got some of Goldy, Edo, Ashli and Rook and another of those group shots floating around everywhere)

(you're welcome to grab photos for your own use, but please ask the photographer and Japanese cosplayers in the photos before uploading them to public sites like the galleries here on coscom or cosplayer's archive)

From Ichi's status on archive:
昨日のキャラ☆フェスとおおおおおおおおおってもたのしかったです!!!そしてやっぱり大好き国際交流!ア フターは日本人外国人含め17人でしました!とってもたのしかった!ので、帰り激しく泣きそうだった!誰に も言わなかったが!また、みんなで集まりたいなあ・・。レポはまたちょっとして書きます!

( Yesterday's Kyara Fes was sooooooooooooo much fun!!! I guess I really do love international exchange! We had an after party with 17 Japanese and foreigners! It was a lot of fun! So much so that when I went home I really felt like I was going to break down crying! I didn't tell anyone, though! I'd really like to get everyone together again like that... I'll put up an event report in a little while! )

Thank you kiratsukai for putting so much effort into the organizing, it was great fun and really cool that you worked at involving friends and students. I loved how there were so many volunteer staff at the event, that is not so common for events that I've been to in Japan, you see it more abroad and you can't go wrong with people who are doing it because they love it.

Looking forward to exchanging pics with everyone!

Hello everyone, had a great time at kyarafes and took way too many pictures =P
Here is the link to them, feel free to take whatever ones you want. Unfortunatly alot of the ones from the kabuki theatre didnt turn out real good due to the lighting situation so they were blurry =( but all the outdoor ones look great from sunday. You may have to run these through photoshop to restore their natural colors and whatnot.

I want to thank everyone for coming and being good sports about everything, i know we did alot of waiting around and some were getting grumpy (myself included) but all and all I feel this event was really well organized and FUN. I cant always say that tokyo event are fun, most of the time they are just crazy lol.

If anyone wants to come down to tokyo for Wonderfes which is July 22nd you can all stay with me. Its only a one day event but its worth it! It caters to anything handmade so there are tons of vendors with arts and crafts that are anime manga related and its in the TGS building so there is lots of space and not half as many people as TGS so you can move around freely AND there is almost no costume restrictions so you can wear what you like and bring weapons too.

Man... I really need to get a facelift or something :P
There's at least one photo in Amu that makes me look just shy of 60.

A lot of really good photos, too though ^^ Especially of you in Miku. You look a lot better in her than I did :/

It's too bad so many of the kabuki shots didn't come out. We should have brought the reflector (sorry!)

Celeste, Iain and Thomas's photos added to the album list up top.
