I'm hoping to cosplay Zelda for the release of Skyword Sword. What would be the best pattern/ patterns to use for her pink dress?

I'm thinking about using and modifying this one: http://butterick.mccall.com/b4827-products-6120.php?page_id=385 (Butterick B4827)

I ended up using that Butterick pattern for my dress, and it worked very well I think. Just had to shorten the sleeves a bit, and the skirt, obviously. I don't have any photos of just the dress, but I will update here when I get one if you'd like to see :)

HEY! I know you! I've seen you and your boyfriend(?) a couple times before at AnimeNEXT. :D

My bf and I are ALSO gonna be cosplaying as Link and Zelda from Skyward Sword next year. Maybe we'll see you there! :]

I was just wondering the exact same thing! (about the dress)

I wonder if it's okay to take a little bit of artistic liberty with the color though... that shade of pink/magenta(?) is horribly unflattering on me >_>
