Anyone know a good place to find pre-made shield? want to lookin to that before i go the long and difficult route of making it my self :)
I just googled "buy captain america shield" and a bunch of results came up. I don't know a specific seller but I'm sure with some weeding out of the cheap one layer plastic ones you can find what you're looking for. If not, I'm sure you could find someone to commission it for you.

If you've got the money, and live in Georgia, there is a retail store for Museum Replicas, who originally manufactured these licensed replicas, at the Mall of Georgia and there is one in stock. Or was as of 4 days ago.
If not you can look into the hundreds of cheaper replicas or look into building one yourself. There are various ways to make shields that I'm sure people would be happy to help with if you had the interest.

If you decide to go the route of making one yourself you could use a round garbage can lid as a base. Easier to build off of than starting from scratch.

I made one from an old DirecTV satellite dish. I followed a tutorial on Backyard FX on Youtube, who in turn followed a tutorial from Instructables.
My FB album of the shield build (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.552865661946.2051972.132500048&l=9765f0a53e)
Backyard FX's Shield episode (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VE94vxexWa0)
Instructables tutorial (http://www.instructables.com/id/Captain-America-Shield/)
* The same guy made a throwable version using cardboard and duct tape HERE (http://www.instructables.com/id/Flying-Captain-America-Shield/).
It takes certain materials and tools (Bondo, JB Weld, a Dremel rotary tool), but there's nothin' like having a metal shield when compared to the plastic replicas. It just feels heftier.
