somebody said to me the best thing to do to pull off a great crossplay is to take some female hormones. it sound dangerous i wanted to crossplay as Rikku or Yuna from ffx2 (sound a little derastic) and it is am a BIG fan of the series( lets just say i know more about final fantasy history than american history) and if not Rikku or Yuna than who? yes it has to be a girly chracter why you ask (cause im getting paid 400 bucks, its a dare) but if im not going to be a final fantasy character than i want to be Erika or Kimiko from Megatokyo the webcomic

Don't take female hormones, you can seriously damage yourself like that, things such as impotence, or with enough hormonal imbalance you can die. Don't do hormones unless a doctor tells you to.

Aside from the fact that taking hormones is an absolutely insane idea unless you are REALLY contemplating an actual sex change (and they don't work overnight), female hormones would cost you WAAAAAAY more than the $400 someone is MAYBE going to pay you for crossplaying.

Taking hormones is not lethal, it is distributed to those who are going through a sex change or women who work out. However, the effects of hormones could be unwanted for someone if it's just for one crossplay. Not only that, but most of the effects are not reversable. Also like Karisu-sama has stated, they do not happen over night. It takes a year of hormonal shots to change the apearance of one's body whether going MtF or FtM.

You do know what they say about "assume", and you should not assume we are all so gullible here. Since I refuse to go "ha ha" over truly lame attempts at jokes, you got the standard acerbic "I have no sense of humor" response from me.

So basically you're just here to be an irritating little piss?

I must say I am completely appalled that anyone would consider taking hormones just for a cosplay.

Also, even if this thread IS a joke, it's appalling.

I think 337 or whatever your name is actually dreams about becoming a woman. This thread was started to both get a rise out of the forum and to quench some personal curiosities. Is it possible someone here is using crossplay to satisfy his desire to dress as a woman...

to use it soley for cosplay? no.

to use it for your life? by all means, whatever makes you feel like you're you.

The thread was a joke. Let's leave it alone and it will go away.
