Bearing in mind im on a budget xD

Also I'm in the UK, so if it's online, please make sure they ship to here. And I don't want some rip off shipping like 30 ($50)xD

I was also looking recently. I found in Chinatown. Does your city have one?

I don't know where you can find good waraji (the first pic), but zori (second pic) you can get from budo/martial arts stores often. Best of luck!

The only Chinatown here is London and I don't live in London. :( 2 hours on the train for me. D:

I've tried looking on eBay and Amazon, but I've found nothing.

Also, the only martial arts sandals I can find are the wrong ones. :c

Chinatown is probably the last place to look for authentic anything... except Chinese food ^^;;;

Some Chinatowns are better than others, but at least in New York and Tokyo the "kimono" are bathrobes, the Chinese dresses are halloween costume-quality and the Rolexes are "Lorex"es.

Try searching some online shopping collectives for "waraji" or you can find tutorials to make your own. It's a fairly simple project and if you don't have straw on hand, fabric strips in an appropriate color can be substituted.

I have to say, both of those just look like flippy flops to me. :/ I'm terrible at recognizing anything like that. I'm sure a lot of people are too. You could probably easily mod some flippy flops into looking like that.

waraji .....make one

Just go and buy the stuff from a hardware store, and then glue a flipflap under the waraji to make it more comfy.There should a hardware store in your town ,right?

I got my waraji's from J-List :)

They aren't comfortable to walk in for long though.

They pop out if you write "Bleach sandals", but they are Chinese. If you want higher quality waraji, just write "waraji" and you'll find some Japanese ones, but they're expensive.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Japanese-Mens-SETTA-ZORI-Black-HANAO-25cm-L-size-NEW-/180689184000?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a11ea2500 --> Zori sandals.

There are plenty of Japanese goods shops in Ebay, and I mean really from Japan. I've bought two pair of geta from two different Japanese shops on Ebay and they're just like the images, very good quality too. One pair costed me 15 euros (normal sole ones) and the other pair, 24 euros (the ones who have two plugs in the soles).

Each type of sandals has a distinctive name, so if you want to find them on Ebay you need to know and search for them with the proper name, or else you'll get nothing.

Just hop on J-list they have lots of nice ones in many different colors : ) And I don't think it's too expensive
