You mean a sukumizu? Can't you just buy a regular one-piece swimsuit in navy blue?

No because I'd rather have this for cosplay? -_-

J-List is reputable, don't worry. The guy who runs it has a Twitter account here if you wanna bug him: http://twitter.com/#!/jlist

I've bought things from J-List before. They're great. The newsletter subscriptions give an interesting perspective on Japanese life from the eyes of an American living in Japan.

Well there's only two mizugi products and they don't fit my size anyways ;l >_<

But a school swimsuit is really just a navy blue one piece swimsuit. Unless you need a specific one that a specific character wears, I don't see the difference between buying a regular navy blue one piece and one that someone claims to be a school swimsuit. o.o;

Navy blue is a pretty common colour for one piece swimsuits like that, so it will probably be easier and cheaper to buy one at a store that sells swimsuits.

Because in a way it's not a two piece. The Jap is kinda like a two piece.

Your could try mimicking them with a long tank top and bottoms?

http://www.jlist.com/product/NET041
I know what you mean by them being unique in that the hip bone area is completely covered compared to most one piece swimsuits.

Here's 1 ebay seller with different sizes.

Ah okay. I didn't know you were looking for a specific kind. A standard school swimsuit can just be a navy blue one piece so....

I don't know where to get one, but like Ani BEE said, you could always just get a navy blue tank top and put it together with a swimsuit or some kind of bottom. o.o;

Or use the ebay seller she provided.... But I don't know if you want to pay $80 for something so simple. >.<;

Ahaha ya it's too expensive. Anyways even bottom is very very different from the bottom from Japan. It's a two piece remem? Not a one piece. Lol! Besides I don't think it'll be easy to find a top that long.

It is a one piece it just has an odd front piece that makes it look separate. The back (on the one shown on j list) is straight down like a one piece.

Why not get one commissioned? It's way cheaper than $80

http://www.cosplay.com/marketplace/showproduct.php/product/12670

Not sure if this person's still taking commissions, but I'm sure there are others.

I think I found one however it says
- This costume covers your whole bottom.

- You may wear this item as a leotard.

- The seam on the front crotch is openable with Velcro tape. You can go to the bathroom without taking it off!

- Very thin (1mm/0.04”), smooth knit fabric.

- The fabric stretches both ways and fits tight to your body.

Is this worth 40$?

That's up to you...most costumes cost a lot to make. However, if you're very adamant about getting this mizugi right, then I think that'd be a good price; especially because the other option is to get it off of ebay for twice the price.
