I've posted pictures of how I made my Felicia wig with descriptions below the pics. I hope it inspires someone else to try this. It was a lot of fun to make and I love how huge it came out!

wow, I never though of making a helmet out of wonderflex and then adding hair to it. It looks good and hopefully that would help me if I need to make an outrageous hair do. Nice!!

Ooh this is great! I was wondering how I was going to make one of my bigger wigs, so I'll probably just do this! Thanks ^-^

Thank you very much! I had always wanted to make a Felicia but didn't know how to do justice to the hair. I saw a couple of episodes of Mad Fashion where they made really big wigs that just popped on an off...I could tell there was a solid structure that fit around the head instead of mesh. The foam shaping was a bit trickier to work out - I had some ideas that didn't work too well.

I look forward to seeing bigger wigs!

very nice tutorial. I like itn because you didnt not use tons of hair spray like others I have seen. They finished product tends to look sticky and gooey.

My question is how did you deal with the weight? I'm sure it must have been a little awkward!
