This outfit, is for one, pretty, uh, revealing. ( to some, to others, not so much). I have a few slight questions though. What do people suggest would be a good fabric choice? And for making sure nothing falls out, what would be something to do there? Like, tape or something?
And her sleeves are like a jester's, has anyone seen any patterns for that?
Here are some images :) Any help would be lovely <3 Thank you

Hello! I'm planning on doing Tira this summer as well :) I think for the top, I will sew it to make sure it covers the appropriate places and then use "hollywood tape" (you can find it at Joanns) to make sure it stays on while I'm walking around. As for the jester type sleeves, I found a great tutorial here:
Hope I helped!

Hey! Thanks for the speedy response! That link is super useful, thanks :) What kind of fabric do you plan to use? And good luck with Tira!

Hi! I will do this cosplay too, I'm going to use lycra for both the top and the sleeves / leggins. Hope it helps :)

I made this outfit and used silk for the top...expensive choice, but I was focused more on color than fabric. I didn't want to use stretch because I didn't want it cutting into me, but stretch would probably be better if you can find a good fabric.
For the sleeves, what I did, was I made a solid sleeve all the way up to the shoulder first. You'll want it tight at the top because that will dictate the poof. Then, you can follow the pattern shown before, with intermittent colors/fabrics depending on the look. Because her sleeves never actually attach anywhere, I made them extra long, compared to what patterns suggest so that I could hook them somewhere other than a shirt. I considered attaching them to the collar at the neck, but ended up using the leather straps that you see in her outfit, and sewing them onto that for stability. I didn't want them falling down on me all day. Hope that helps.
