Okay... I must admit that this is finished and I'm just bragging on it,... but here it is (http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=104509&password=&sort=1&cat=500&page=1) ... I am so pleased with it... any criticism is good... and yes I am cutting my bangs before I wear it at a con... ;p

lol, that's cute! I love it. The only thing is is that it seems a little baggy. :D :D

Erg x_x too many people are cosplay Gravi ever since it came out in the US :( Phuuu it was one of my favorite shounen-ais too. Oh well. The fabric type and color seems off and also the whole is too big around your head, it should be a bit smaller. I guess I'm bias because I only think of my friend Ryuichi as the real Ryuichi @_@ (He looks just like him and acts just like him! It's freaky! He's even his same height and weight x_x weird) but it's good over all. The paws need work too, put plush stuffing in the fingers ^_^ Good luck!

_ Now, this is a place for criticism... but something like "Erg x_x too many people are cosplay Gravi ever since it came out in the US Phuuu it was one of my favorite shounen-ais too. Oh well." is rather rude IMHO... especially since I saw this series WAY before it was liscensed here. >_< ... plus, Kumagoro version Ryuichi cosplays are not by any means over-cosplayed.

Anyway, that comment just really caught me off guard. o.o As for the color, yeah, obnoxiously pink fleece is hard to find...^-^... plus my commissioned Kuma was a really pale pink and didn't want him to look white in comparison.

As for the hood... according to all the screenshots I've seen - like this one (http://www.heerosferret.com/nittlegrasper/gravitation_nittles_images_anime10_052.jpg) - I don't see how the hood opening is the wrong size... can you elaborate in what way it is too big?

As for bagginess and the paws... his has some ungodly sort of fluff in the torso in the anime version... so it probably looks really weird in real life in comparison... as for the gloves.. probably cuter stuffed but much nicer if I can use my hands at a con. ^^;;;;;; I honestly love those gloves more than anything.. down to every last claw.

I'm not being defensive.. just explaining why my costume looks as it does. ;p

HikaruMiazaki: I'd like to see your friend's cosplay as Ryuichi since his is as good as you say it is. any photos online?

he has some pictures of him being compared to Ryuichi. And I'm sorry if my first comment sounded rude ^_^;; It just seemed like Gravi has been talked about a lot more since it was licensed (and I'm upset at Tokyo Pop cutting out scenes in the manga ~_~). As for the hood in your picture, it appeared that the bottom came up and covered your face with a little ~ in the fabric which appeared to be an indicator of being too big instead of a smooth roundness/ovalness that Ryuichi has.

Here are some of his piccies:

That's all I can see on his junk page. I'll ask him to scan more piccies if he has them ^_^

You did a kickass job on that!

((yeah that "liscenced-Gravi" comment kinda threw me off too >_< ... I'm actually glad they're bringing it over... but yeah, maybe I'm not the one to throw my opinion out there... just look at my cosplay list. Just filled with ghastly 'overdone' costumes of 'mainstream' characters. Oh well. 0_o))

Back on the farm....

I love the hair, the costume is the best I've seen out of the few to compare too, and Kuma rocks! I'm making a different Ryu outfit for Katsu (the maroon/yellow shirt) and I'm currently trying to find one for myself! ((Don't want to attempt making it.... with the way I know it'll be thrown around, I want him to be durable-Kuma! ^_^))

-end babble- Simply put : You did a great job!

I love it! Words can't even describe this. It's just so awesome!!! ^o^. Awesome job!

Thankyuu... I like the hair comment because it's my own hair. ;p Tora: I commissioned my Kumagoro from a girl... he's a tad skinny but he's way better than most any Kuma plush I've seen... and his arms and legs move! ^O^ Mine was $20+$5 shipping so if that price interests you I can search for her URL... she makes a bunch of custom plushies.

Oh, and I stuffed the gloves... cuter, but I can't use my hands at all now. ~_~;;;; at least I'll have friends to grab stuff for me at the con. ^^;;
