Greetings all,

My mom got me the McCalls Costumes Pattern 2802 featured here:
http://www.smartcart.com/1sew/index.cgi?ID=markarian&item_num=2802mc

and I was thinking of making the B costume/ Brown one... but was wondereing how authentic it is and what kind of person would wear this?

I was told by a friend that it's a renne serf or nobleman... any ideas as to what kind of classification it is?

I love both of them but like the brown one better.

Just need some info that's all.

Thanks and take care,
Joe

It isn't particularly authentic, but for a "costume" Renaissance, it should be fine. Your choice of fabric will dictate whether you come off richer or poorer.
