I know everyone seems to do this cosplay but I honestly have only found one actual description on how to do it. I'm new to cosplay and I really want to do this outfit for Halloween. I play a night elf Druid and I thought this particular cosplay would be perfect without having to find robes or antlers.

I can go off the picture but I'm wondering if anyone could give me some insight or tips on how to do it? I'm not experienced at sewing and I'd only be able to spend little money.

Please help!

I suggest doing something else, in my opinion. This outfit is over done, as well as the Sylvannas Windrunner cosplay.

If you are insistent, however, I suggest taking a look at Kumai's tutorials on wonderflex and what things she has made: http://www.kamuicosplay.com/p/tutorials.html

I would use wonderflex or a similar material for the armor, than foam cut in a long strip and glued with a fabric you like. Glue this to the armor for the raised detail that is on the armor.

Check out Kumai's facebook page and look at her alexstrasza cosplay which has similar detailing to what your thinking of.

Good luck.

Is this night elf (http://gameguiders.com/GG_imagesarticle/WoW_CinematicNightElf01-small_accent.png) what you had in mind? Wonderflex is great, but it's $40 for a nice sheet of it and you could mimic armor with craft foam (fun foam, sheets bought for about 50 cents at any craft store). Here's a great tutorial (http://entropyhouse.com/penwiper/costumes/helmsdeep.html) on how to make armor with craft foam. Once it's sealed you can paint it however you want or cover it in fabric. Details could be done cheaply with some 3d fabric paint.

Anniee is right about Kamui's amazing tutorials. I would really recommend the "how to make patterns for armor (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_r2IKnovyI&feature=plcp)" tutorial especially :)

I hope this helps!
