Hello guys, i need your help.
The main thing is that i want to create it from pure steel lol. I got materials but i need some advices with sizes to cut the metal properly, and some painting techniques (though i wanted to paint it in real blood ;P is that possible? or may be some kind of mix would be cool)
Well my main idea is attempt to get as much real costume as possible (real steel real blood etc.) it would be hard to wear yea, but im perfectly fine with that. Also i wonder how should i create pyramid so it wont fall off to the front cuz of weight balance?

Ah. You might be better off using fake blood. Unless you have really bad nosebleeds, or are planning on murdering someone to collect the amount you need. Hahah.
Real steel too, seems like it might just be too heavy and difficult to work with.
If you really want to work with steel though, then I would reccommend building some sort of structure inside the helmet, near the front, and have it attach to your body so you can keep it steady. Or, you can weigh the back if you want.
Best of luck. =]

Real blood is not the way to go. After some time it will start to smell putrid (especially the blood on the costume itself)... and honestly, most convention centres will not be pleased. It will also start to smell out any room you keep it in. You can get a perfectly good effect from artificial blood- if you want realism go for a high quality film/stage blood.
Additionally, if you add real blood to the costume component without any real method of adhering it, the majority of it will not stay on the costume and you'll just end up wasting most of it... Plus it will come off during regular wear.
It is rare even for film-makers to even use real blood for the reasons listed (smell, permanence, rot, thickness, consistency and colour problems, etc.) Fresh blood looks different from blood that's been around a while. If you're using real blood you won't be able to control the colour palette at all.
As for real metal: I am sure you could use metal accents, but you might want to look for something a bit more light-weight, since you'll be wearing the thing on your head for the duration of the costume. Also using real metal, it can cause injuries to others if you have any sharp parts or are not careful with it. You can often achieve a desireable metal affect with properly finished and painted foam or even wood.

There are lighter metals than steel, too, like aluminum... but yeah, I really don't recommend trying to make the whole thing out of any metal. When it turns out that you can't stand to wear it for very long, it'll be a disappointing waste of effort and money. (Plus I really can't think of a way to make it function, balance-wise -- consider that PH himself is often depicted as though he's suffering from the weight of the helmet.)
As for real blood... on top of the issues already mentioned, I'm not sure it would even be legal!

Thx for the advices ever1, but you probably don't get the final point. My main IDEA in this costume is that I WANT to suffer with that (sorta like PH), some kind of SHARE his feelings. I don't care much about injuries, please of conventions or heavy weight of costume (since i will wear it for only single convention and it wont last for long). Don't get me wrong - i am not kind of maniac or smthng, just want to make something with "Ideology to the end". But blood advices actually really useful, much obliged.
The most importnat thing for me now is PLEASE HELP ME with head size (height widht etc) or may be share link to some schematic things? Anyone? Please?

As far as dimensions, my advice is the same as for any costume: look at reference pictures and figure out all the relative proportions, then translate them to your own body. So if (completely random example, not looking at reference at the moment) PH's helmet is 1.5 times his shoulder width at its widest point, and from front to back is the length of his legs or something... take those proportions, apply them to your own measurements, and then tweak from there until you like how it looks. You wouldn't want to use anyone else's measurements because there is a good chance it won't work as well for you as it does for soneoneelse.

Okay, thx to your advices almost everything is done. Now i need the last and most important thing - texture color. And to be honest i am really stuck here because i dont know how is it possible to achieve same result as PH have. Almost everything he got - Head, body and clothes got this hectic disordered darkbrown "SH-style" pattern, which i have no idea how to make by myself. Any help on that one? I would be pleased for life, if you could bring me at least small beacon of light. (Sry once again for my terrible english >.<)

I've made it!

As promised - Head and Knife was made of pure steel with an addition of real blood (which unfortunately was "unrecognizable") and other "real" stuff.
Thanks everyone for your help - that was my first costume and I hope you liked it!
