I really can't think of how to go about this. I want to go as a Gryffindor because every sorting quiz I've ever taken sorted me there, even Pottermore. So does anyone have any ideas? I'll definitely be buying a replica of Sirius Black's wand, so no need to worry about that.
THANKS :)

So, you want to go as an original character? Yourself as a Gryffindor?
I'd say get a Hogwards school uniform costume, and a Gryffindor scarf or tie or something.

This place (http://web.archive.org/web/20100505195100/http://as-always.org/wardrobe/hogwartsuniforms.php) (courtesy of the Internet Wayback Machine since the original link's been dead for some time) has tips on putting together a Hogwarts uniform. For the record, my own tie came from WildTies.com (though that was years ago, don't know if they still have it), and my sweater, scarf, and robe (or at least the ones I currently use) came from Alivans.com (http://www.alivans.com/custom/web/list.asp?c=19742&pageid=10276).
