So, I've been fiddling around with the idea of doing a Rapunzel cosplay, but I've decided that I'll only do it on one condition: I have a super long wig.

The longest wig I can find is 150cm. I'm hoping to double that (maybe by buying a second wig..?). After searching the internet for hours, it seems like the best way to add length to a wig is by adding wefts. Unfortunately, all the information has been pretty vague so far, so I'm hoping someone can give me step-by-step instruction of how to make a wig longer (or at least redirect me to a tutorial that can).

And yes, I know that long wigs are a pain, and that it's crazy to want to make a wig even longer than it is. It's like cosplay suicide. But I'm up for the challenge, trust me~

Here's a tutorial specific for doing Rapunzel's braid (http://courtoonxiii.deviantart.com/art/Rapunzel-Wig-Tutorial-214656639?q=boost%3Apopular%20%28%28tutorial%29%20 AND%20%28by%3Acourtoonxiii%29%29&qo=1)!

Wow, that's really useful, thanks! Though is there maybe one for leaving the hair loose?

the only thing I can think of is buying loose hair and adding it strand by strand with hair glue.
