Hi! I'm new to the website so my bad if I posted in the wrong place, but I couldn't find an area that was quite fitting my problem.

So I'm planning on Cosplaying Damian Wayne, because I love the little guy and I've had a few people already tell me we look similar. His recent death only made me more determined to Cosplay him.
I can't sew for crap (already tried that with Sealand from Hetalia and it went less than perfect), so I decided to buy it.
Unfortunately, Ebay has absolutely nothing, and the only cosplay website I can find that has it is Cosplay House.

http://www.cosplayhouse.com/DC-Comic-Static-Shock-Cosplay-Costume-Version-01.html

It labels it as Static Shock in the URL, then says its from Young Justice in the title, and it then has a Damian Wayne-looking costume...so...haha, they probably don't know their stuff, but hey, the costume looks GREAT.
Unfortunately, I looked around for reviews about Cosplay House and I've heard some horror stories about the cosplay they've received from Cosplay House.

I could really use some advice on what to do about this predicament seeing as I can't sew him and I don't know whether to risk buying him. :lost:
Any good suggestions?

it looks pretty good on there but the static shock url would make me suspicious lol.
but yeah i'm curious to hear what have you heard about cosplay house.

someone with more cosplay experience will probably come by with better advice, but it seems like you can buy a lot of it yourself and piece it together.

Found some green gloves on amazon.

also a utility belt that you can slap a gold buckle on.

as for the shirt, i'm sure you can find a Red shirt that you can cut up and it's actually not to difficult to sew in the logo

check out this guy on how he made his own mask!

tricky part seems to be finding the green fins and green boots. But could always just get regular black boots with green shoelaces. The Gauntlet Fins seems easy enough to craft out of Cardboard and ducktape.
It might be a bit intimidating at first to craft your own stuff, but there's plenty of turtoials here and online and once you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun.

Good luck! i hope i helped at least a little lol.

I suggest you do some more research, visit some of the superhero forums for tips, tricks and advice on vendors. If you absolutely can't do it yourself, you may want to consider working with someone on a commission to work the pieces you can't do or even the entire suit.

Try these spots;

Break the costume down and try buying all the pieces you can separate (gloves, boots, etc) before looking for a commissioner for the actual suit. You'll save some money and it'll take less time. Good luck!
