Please don't bring anything noisy to the park like a stereo, boombox, karaoke machine, etc. We will have a couple of TV's and a boombox of our own, anything more will go against park sound policy.

Can I bring a bass amp (if I keep it real quiet)?

No, amplified sound from musical instruments has to be licensed as "entertainment" to be played in the park. It'd cause a few problems.

Ah, okay. Just the bass, then. I need it for my Naota costume.

BTW, if Ibring my DDR and PS2, is that still okay cuz the music will have to be turned up. Is that gonna count?

As long as it can't be heard away from the pavillion. I'd like to keep the number of gadgets on the small side though.

Damn. I wish I had the time or money to get an acoustic bass (I still need my electric for the costume, but if I had an acoustic, me and my brother could play together). I just wish I could hook up the amp, even if I keep it low...

OK, I guess this is going to take more explanation.
Orange County has park regulations. In those regulations, it specifically says that if you are going to have live music or "entertainment" at the park, you have to o.k. it with them and pay extra money to license the entertainment. Hooking up an amp and jamming would fall under that, so would acoustic probably if they wanted to be jerks about it.

Well, if u don't want me to bring it, just say the word oh holy admin! ^_^ I'll bring it, but I'll make sure to keep it low as to not disturb outside the pavillion!
