View Full Version : Models needed for Anime Price is Right!

Howdy folks!

Greggo here. I'll be running Anime Price is Right at Anime Central on Saturday morning, and I need four or five prize models to look lovely and show off the various things we'll be attempting to give away during the show.

If you're interested, please respond to this thread. The schedule for the show is going to be fairly taxing, but the good news is it'll be over by early afternoon on Saturday, so those of you planning to be in the cosplay will still have plenty of time to do what you need to do.

The schedule:
9:00-10:00 AM: Setup and rehearsal
10:00-10:45 AM: Selection of contestants (models can get breakfast so long as they're back by 10:45)
11:00-12:30: Showtime!

There is a main events walkthrough slated from 8 to 9AM that some of you may already be going to (the purpose being to show the cosplay entrants main events, etc.) so if you are going to model you could kill two birds with one stone.

I'm not planning any costume changes or anything. Models will wear whatever costume they want so long as it's easy to move around in (you'll be walking a lot during the rehearsal and show). If you have or can get access to a white lab coat and glasses, that's a plus, because of the theme of one of the showcases.

If you have any questions, please feel free to post them here or email me at greggo4randy@austin.rr.com

Thanks! See you in Chicago!

*waves hand* I'm interested. I'm currently 17 years old, and I have access to a white lab coat and glasses. The only problem I can think of is if my masquerade group needs me at that time. I will check back with them and hopefully you can use me. ^-^

I'm interested =) . I'll be 17 by the time this is going on, but I don't have any access to a lab coat (but I do have the glasses)
I'm not gonna be in the masqurade, so there be no worries there...

Just a comment about getting labcoats; people could always ask to borrow a lab coat from the Physics/Biology/Science teachers at your schools-- they'll almost always have one hanging up somewhere, and if they know who you are fairly well and also trust you, they will usually not have a big problem lending it out for a day or two. So, if you can't find one anywhere in your house (or don't have a family member who works in a hospital or lab), going to a teacher is always a possibility, if you did want to bring a labcoat for this activity. ^_^

Question Greggo, if you are who I think you are... Am I still banned from all your gameshows?

Since I've taking some new medicen and I am less... Excentric than I was before...

I'd love to model. I'm 21, have access to a lab coat & glasses, and might be cosplaying. Not sure yet about the costume that day, but I definitely won't be wearing jeans and a t-shirt! my email: pamelaneko@hotmail.com

You'll have to come to the tryouts and we'll see.

Yo greggo, didn't you post this on the other ACen forums? What happen to those models?

Three backed out. They had a lot of events they were already doing, including cosplay, and didn't want to add another four hours to their day. Perfectly understandable.

*winks* but "those models" are also trying their best to keep things afloat.

(grins) I'm sure you'll do fine. And thanks for recommending that I post here. So far, so good!

Oh wow. I love the Price is Right. I wish I could be one of your models, or Bob Barkerís Beauties, but the time commitment is too great. I just wanted to let you know that Iím excited about the game show and I will definitely be in the audience.

Looking forward to it! Good luck, and don't forget to do the Contestant Cattle Call if you want to be a contestant!
