View Full Version : Finished Hogwarts Uniform
Erm, the picture of it is in my members gallery. Anyone who is bored, could you look at it and gimme your honest opinion? ( I know there's no scarf or sweater vest, I would of liked to of had such things but i'll be wearing this in the middle of August.)

Thanks for doing Hufflepuff. Hardly anyone does that house. I personally don't think you need a scarf. They don't wear theirs till winter and then it's over a cloak and a heavy wool cloak. Most of us don't need all that. If you need a cooler sweater you can go to
They make a sweater vest that will keep you cool.
Your robe looks good. The tie is nice. The skirt looks a little long on you. You might want to shorten it to middle of the knee. Also your socks aren't grey. Though ya know I don't care.... I think White, grey, black all look nice. If you MUST have grey socks I think French Toast and Frank Bee are places that provide them.

You don't really need a scarf but you do need a sweater. It's more vital than the robes in my opinion. The skirt looks a bit longish but it's hard to tell. The socks ought to be grey. The patch seems a bit high, but that's really not that important. I'm only being so picky because I'm in the process of making my own hogwarts costume and have been tryign to engrave every detail into my brain :)
If you decide you want to add a swetaer they have them here:
(cheapest I have found) http://www.hpwizardstore.com/
http://www.genkigang.com/genkigang.html (go to store, then mad props, then wizard sweater)
If you decide you want a scarf:
http://www.genkigang.com/genkigang.html (they have them in various lengths but they're a bit pricey)
Overall you really did do a really good job.
Oh, the socks are grey, but the photographed navy blue for some reason, which disappointed me highly. I might buy another pair if I can find something that looks better.
thanks for the input!
