We get a bunch of Naruto cosplayers, and give em all fig leaves... I think you all know what comes next. For 2005, of course. ^^

Umm... I don't understand... possibly a Naruto YATTA! dance? I'm cosplaying as Kakashi for ACEN 2005, and I'd LOVE to do something hilarious.

The Yatta! crap got old a loooong time ago. If you're going to do something then just go all out and do the actual costume.

for "getting old", though, people sure do eat it up. I think I was the one person at the entire con this past time that wasn't all that impressed with the "Pocky Yatta" skit. Yeah I admired them for dancing with no eye holes, the paint jobs were well done, etc... but everyone was raving about how special and original it was. Let's see...my skit had dancing pocky the year before, as did others, and I've seen one too many "YATTA" renditions already. ...don't understand what the lustre was about that particular performance...

I'd say not to do it, since despite the fact that it was ALREADY overdone, you'd get accused of "ripping off the pocky." ...oddly enough, though, I'm sure you'd get loud cheers anyway from the mindless people that don't know the difference if you really REALLY had your heart set on it. ;) ...er.

I have to agree that both Pocky and Yatta are getting old. You'd think that after three years it would get less popular, but every time a dancing Pocky box takes the stage, the crowd goes crazy. And the judges aren't getting tired of it either, based on the awards this year. Oh well, whatever makes the people happy... :)
