IRC, I'm an op in one channel (if you want to know or want to leech PM me). ^_^; Aside from there I get stuff from friends that ftp me stuff / send through aim, and on occasion from people on the college network.

Err. . .does anyone still happen to get their fansubs the traditional way? (i.e. on tape or CD-ROM) I'm always looking for new distributors since I'm still in the dark age of modems ;_;.

Chinatown!!! It's a very reliable source for fan-subbed anime's.

I get fansubs on VHS and CD, mostly. I'm a Mac user (no p2p), IRC incompetent, and most of what people have on Streamload is liscensed stuff. For people who want CD stuff, I can recommend this place - http://anime.iamnewbie.com/ They are fast, they are reliable, and they DO pull liscensed titles, which is kinda rare among distro places.

I don't do Chinatown subs or eBay subs, because they aren't ethical. :\

I've also been getting stuff from forum members, now. ^^ *hugs Oshi, HungryJack, and Recca-kun*

My connection's too slow for downloading, so my resources are:

I used to download files over a 28k, where there's a will there's a way. ;)

Although too many groups don't compress their files seemingly at all which hurts that... stupid 3 eps per CD...

Kazaa Lite and WinMX and forum members here and othe rplaces. Sometimes I buy subs in Chinatown or anywhere else that seems decent enough.

And my computer's only a P2 233- so I can't handle or even watch half the fansubs I've got *sniffles*

I'll bet you more often than not it's a codec issue.
