I hope everyone is preping...
from cosplay, skit planning, hotel plans and even fundage. I still have to wait till mid Aug comes for more details about the con become available... plus there is still much that can happen between that time... remember that beg event that occured last August... man that year was harsh.

Lets all hope for the best and prepare for the worst!

Arg, so much costume work to be done and skit planning is a big zero right now, but that can't be helped. x_X; So for now, I'm just going to concentrate on the August photoshoot and worry about CNAnime after that. >_<; worse comes to worse, I'll just re-use costumes anyway.

So much sewing to do but so little time. Less than a month now and I'm working harder and harder as each day passes. But since I have nothing else to worry about, that's all I'm worry about ^^;;

Most of my costumes are nearly completed, if not completed. So I can say, I'm working at a good rate ^^

the worst thing about my time crunch is i can't start working on my costume until i have money saved up because leather is expensive -_- hell, the COAT for my costume is estimated to cost like $600 @_@; which means probably the week of the con i'll work around the clock putting it all together. i didn't find out i was going for sure until about a week ago, args >_<
i'll probably go in debt trying to make the deadline *lol*
but i'm really looking forward to it, still!

and i don't mean to stir anything but, what's going on up there? *points at comments above own entry*

To help continue the on-topic trend...

Still working on the same costume I've been working on since before AN...leg thingies, shoes, shorts, wig, sword and hair accessory are all done, so it's the shirt and the gloves that I still need to finish/start.

Just getting started on the other costume, with only the bootcovers in progress so far (kind of weird for me to start from the bottom up, but ah well >_<) I'm probably going to need another wig if I cut my hair. T_T

I hope that they put up more information about the convention within a reasonable amount of time. I want to know how much they're going to charge for Patrick Stewart and also how they're doing the masquerade this year.

As for how they're doing the Masq... I really don't know what you mean. In other threads they refered about priority seating for people with Deluxe (Weekend Passes) here you go...

QUESTION I was browsing your website regarding your upcomming event in Toronto, and I was just curious as to what 'Priority seating for the Masquerade' entails. How is it implimented. Do we have a reserved seat? Are they numbered? Do we get tickets?

Thank you in advance for your reply

ANSWER HERE
Priority seating is in case we cannot fit everyone in the theatre, weekend
or deluxe pass holders will be admitted first. Basic pass holders will be
admitted following. No numbers, no. Thanks.

Me personally, I have a long list of stuff I NEED to buy.

Like I have to plug the holes in my comic book collections, which is why I end up spending like 3 or 4 hours in the dealers room on my knees looking for the individual issues.

Plus I'm hoping to pick up some inaction figures... hoefully some dealer's pick up those giant Jay and Silent Bob figures and sells them at CN. Also hopefully that Video Game dealer is there (or hopefully more).

O_O You're doing Ayu cosplay? Which one? I'm hoping to get another of her Arena Tour costumes done for CN. I might even fix up my Sleeves of Death for CN too. If you don't mind we should take pictures togther. ^_^

As for CN costume progress, Rogue will be completed by the photoshoot, so all I have to worry about it remembering to bring all the pieces with me. ^_^ Progress on one of my Ayu costumes is going slow, can't find the fabric I'm looking for. :: shakes fist at fabric stores :: Hopefully I can find everything, get it all done and manage to afford it at the same time. ^_^

Re: the masq...

Mostly stuff that won't go up on the website anyway, now that I think about it. *sweatdrop* Don't know how my group's masquerade presentation is going to go now, though, since we had 13 people on stage for AN. >_<;

Actually, speaking of the seating issue, I wonder what they're planning to do with the contestants after they've gone on stage. Last year, they at first told us that there would be space at the front where we would be seated (i.e. we had to stay for the rest of the masq), then it changed to not being allowed into the audience at all, then it flip-flopped a little before finally settling on no-one-knows.

Apparently this year Hobbystar will have security during the masquerade to escourt people out of the audience who are making it so that everyone else can't enjoy the show. Thank heavens!

I'm thankfully not at all stressed for this con. ^^ I'm just bringing out old costumes, since I've never been to a Canadian con before I might as well show off my old stuff. o.o; I do wanna make a matching costume for one of mine for my boyfriend, but it's one of those things you can just put together from bought stuff. X3 I'm excited just to go. I won't be too upset if we don't get his outfit done, either. We just wanna hang out and I want to meet new people too~ :heart: We're gonna buy some nice matching outfits in Chinatown to wear at the con though. :D Yaaaay I'm excited. ^___^

Mou. Yes, that was unfortunate...last year it was MY job to escort people out of the stage area, and send them up the hall to be seated in the audience. The problem was that we only had half the seats available, because convention centre staff started seating audience members in our reserved area. >_< We got as many contestants into the audience as we could, but we were dealing with a tough situation.

Anyways! I am not making anything new for CNA/SFX, and I have had a particularly bad few weeks, so my plans to even GO are up in the air. If I'm required to volunteer for the masq I will happily do so, but cosplay-wise...I've got nothing. I suppose this is my time off.

One CNA costume is having an edit (Very small. Will be done today for sure), one hasn't even been started and bringing an older one to wear for sunday. ^^

I'm not too worried about Da Qiao not being started yet. ^^ I'm actually not going to bothe worrying until after the photoshoot on the 8th (I'll still lazily work on it from time to time before then though XD).

I have to drag out a friend to actually GET fabric to to make her costume. <_< Lazy bum. =D

I'm making her third outfit from the show. I have nicknames for all the Ayu costume I'm planing on doing (like the Sleeves of DEATH). I'm a big Ayu fan. There are so many awsome costumes of her's that I want to do, they take up at least half of my "Future Plans" book. ^_^

JustinCredible
08-01-2004, 08:49 PM
For CNanime, there is no one day pass. BUT, you can buy a comic/sci-fi or horror one day pass, but you won't be able to go to any of the anime viewing rooms or quite possibly be unable to go into any of the anime oriented panels. You will be able to attend the Masq (seating provided) and by paying a fee you might be able to attend Anime All Night.

If you want the anime access, Hobbystar NEVER does single day passes, so you'll have to buy the full weekend pass. They do single day passes for every other area of the con EXCEPT the Anime section. It's really not fair, but they know they can make the money off us, so they won't ever change it.

The only thing that sucks about CNA is that you are sharing a con with sci-fi, comics, and now Horror! So there will be a mixture of ppl there, some with no interest in anime.
But from what I remember, there are still a LOT of amazing anime costumes. And if you are dressing up, I HIGHLY reccommend participating in the masq.
The most fun is standing in line with the other cosplyers before the show. I took a majority of my pics backstage too.
I don't know if I will do a skit this year, I will probably just walk across the stage as I normally do.
Not enough time.... still recovering from.... otakon....

Well... they could share the same feelings as you, As they have seen their con dwindle in size as the anime section has taken over... But I doubt it :bigtu:

Actually, I think thats one of the better things about CN. I'm a fan of all four and their are many people are of all for or a combination and the ability to buy comics and see anime, or see a sci-fi star and a comic writer or meet a VA and go to a Q&A with a horror legend has a great appeal.

Mixture is great and produced a better much more fun convention (or expo).

But from what I remember, there are still a LOT of amazing anime costumes.

There are a lot of amazing costumes period.

EDIT: Did everyone get their fancy CN booklets in the mail this morning?

I actually enjoy all facets of CN, and my friend is really happy they've added a Horror section as well. CN's a great con because I'm also a trekkie and a comic book nerd, so I can frolic with those guests as well, whereas a pure anime con doesn't tend to have sci-fi guests. ^^

The secruity is so tight though, the sci-fi people, man they got to ease up, i was going to watch samuri X there and we had to go through the back, where spoc from star trek was, and i got in but i notice my friend behind me, the secruity guard grabbed him and yelled at him and said you can't go through here, i was freaked out since it was first anime convention and i didn't no what was going on so i sat and watched the movie for 10 mins after that ran out the dorr as fast as i could and my friend was around the corner waiting,

this time i would be so scared, last year my friend told me about cna on the last day halfway through it, so this year i won't be so scared this time, and i hope the secruity isn't that bad

Yeah, considering how the CN masq is *supposted* to be made up of all areas of the media (anime, sci-fi, fantasy, comics, etc...) it always seems that about 90% of the entries are primarily anime in nature. But the thing that bugs ME the most is when I'm sitting in the audience and when that ONE non-anime costume/group comes up on stage I hear a general rumbling of discontent from some of the younger, more hard headed members of the audience who have this misguided idea that the masq is for them and them ONLY.

Really, I agree with the people who complain about anime people taking over their con, especially when they're treated with such bad attitudes from those who are supposed to be the new breed of costumers. There is enough room in this world for EVERY type of fandom, the world does not revolve around one particular kind/group. I repect other people's rights to being at any con, regardless of their core fandom. And besides, CN is just one part of a giant expo, it's not just us. We don't like the other groups talking down to us, what gives us the right to do it to others?

you kinda picked the centre square on an issue I have with hobbystar. I would like more things period, but in the grand scheme of things comics and sci-fi still come off as being second rate. With no screening rooms, no attempt at screening a movie, and nothing outside a panel or two or Q&As, anime has a lot more features then those two. Regardless, it still isn't enough; there needs to be more for all 4. When Andy Hallet did the karaoke night, that was such a great event, that those who went (well almost all who went...) had an amazing time and they never did it again... :sulk:

I disagree
I've never been to CN but, I was at March TAC and I have hear many things about CN and i think its going to be better then TAC. but i think either of them are mostly pay $25(for TAC..i think that was the price) and $45 for CN to basically hangout. i think that most of it, from what ive heard is about socializing with other cosplayers/anime fans. (I'm talking about the anime portion here, i havent heard too much about the other parts)

Actually, I've always found CN very good for getting graphic novels. All you have to do is scout out all the dealers selling manga/whatever you're interested in, and then wait until Sunday. Then on Sunday you go back to those same dealers and you haggle. I usually get all my best deals that way. ^_^

Did more searching and found this:

Concerning improving the physical layout of the convention...
Good news, the autograph areas have been moved downstairs and are carpeted. Also, the Expo is sponsoring the first "Exhibitor Awards" for this edition to try and motivate the exhibitors into putting more effort into their displays. We are not happy with the look of the floor either, but you've been in some of
these store fronts, neatness does not seem to be a priority for some
retailers.

Downstairs? Wow ... I can't even picture how that'll work out legistically this year. Does that mean they have more dealers (to take up that huge amount of floor space) this year, or that they just decided to go with a different hall for the dealers room?

Wah. CNanime is creeping up on me! *giggles look at her little calendar*

I'm not doing much for Cnanime cosplay wise, I'll have one costume (my Aryll one from the Zelda series) it needs a few touch ups. I need to stylize the wig, -okay so I just ordered it like an hour ago. so sue me- and find proper sandals.

I'll probably only bring enough money for the admission and then a little extra... enough to buy one or two things small things at the con (thinking manga, or one wallscroll if I find a really nice one). But mostly it'll be hanging out with people, and making some new friends.

Generally speaking, I'm not one for raining on other people's parades, but if you even *attempt* to raise a weapon to another person at CN, or even just your own two hands, feet, or head, I WILL call security on you. Take that as your warning.
I'm not trying to start trouble with you, but you might want to reconsider your current course of action before you actually attend the con.

Yes, unfortunatley, a lot of us on the boards have gotten used to Chibi-Claude's ideas, and he is quite serious about duling/attacking people at con. We've tried being nice, but he decided we were attacking him- so now we're being civil and dead serious. If he even so much as attempts to 'fight' someone inside the con, he will be removed by security. We just can't take the risk of someone getting hurt. Including himself.
^^

My problems with you would constitute an entire board of ranting, and I am not the only one, though most people juist ignore you. I dislike how you abuse the board and seem incapable of common curtesy to anyone. I have no intention of 'ignoring' you whenever you post something dumb, and so the best way to keep me from 'fighting you' is for you to think another three seconds before posting.
Next time, the idea would be to say "I can't wait for some good dueling shots"
instead of
"15 days, im in the mood for cna to attack others, so beware!"

And last I checked (After what was it, your 6th banned membership?) You didn't want to be called Naziel. But I certainly don't care.

I also do not agree with what you said about being nice you banned, me thats really nice.... and you act like im some crazy guy that wants to hurt people? i don't no why you think that, at Tac i battled a link, was i trying to hurt him no, did he try to hurt me? No, its just a acting thing and to put on a shwo not to hurt people, and if you think im trying to hurt people by dueling them then you got it all wrong its just to put on a show and for people to get cool pics, plus im not the only one who duels you know, there is alot of people at conventions that duel others and there not all me, i do maybe 1 or 2 duels to put on a show once when i got to aconvention thats it though.

And stay on topic, i don't want this thread destroyed like the other ones elemental ahs started fights with me in.

Elemental anything you post talking about this will be ingored by me and would be seen as spamming keep your opionon of me to yourself, ever since i got back one your the only one bothering me, so just stop when others start telling me too, then i will agree with you, but your the only person, so just keep your thoughts to yourself and stay on topic please.

I am excited for CNA. I had a lot of fun last year, and it was my first con. I really don't have much $loot$ to spend in the dealers room this year, tho, b/c I spent like 400 dubs at Otakon already this year!
All I really want is like one toy and a few cds(if they have any).
They have some kewl video game stuff, however, we must beware. Some guy last year tried to sell the the guide for Shenmue(Dreamcast) for like 20 dubs, and then I ended up getting it used for $1.99.

Oooo sorry for all the slang ppl, The gamestop I work at is in the Ghetto, and all I have been hearing for the past week is "Y'all got that Madden joint?"

Is ANYONE staying at Strathcona? I want to know if ppl will be doing the Anime all night and Anime Karaoke thing. I didn't do it last year, so I don't know what to expect.

Yeah, I've been putting off the rather crucial but nerve-wracking part of cutting some custom facings on the jacket, plus putting off school work at the same time. I like the double procrastination effect.

I've got all the material but the lining for the cape purchased at least; here's hoping I can make it not suck with the trim, which'll take much more time than the sewing will. Ed's just waiting to be used again for CNA, given the rather small audience for him at NAF.

Playing nice? No fun at all...

As for crash bits, if the need is there, I may have space for people (whom I know/have a vague sense of trust for) which is a lot easier to access late at night if necessary. Depending on who the house occupants are (i.e. whether the family is home) the profile might have to be lower (i.e. less insane people being loud in costumes, though I guess I've scared my parents by other people crashing here before, so no big deal) but the access to relatively reasonabe 24-hour transit is a plus.

Something to poke me offline about as needed depending on how the other plans work (or on who gets stuck late at the MTCC)...

Hey... There's quite a few threads for CN plans and groups and stuff in the AN forum. Why don't we ask for a separate CN forum? @_@

Mekou
08-12-2004, 09:59 PM
I have no idea. lol But the AN forum has turned into a place to discuss all cons and cosplay events in the GTA, which I'm sure a lot of people are happy with as is.

Michi
08-12-2004, 10:36 PM
True, but CNA is a big enough event with enough topics I think it'd be okay to have its own forum. The AN forum is honestly getting a bit crowded when it discusses everything out there in Ontario/the Toronto area. X_X I'm moving to there soon and I'm already confused by the many different threads for things..

Also, it confuses newbies to cosplay.com.. No one realizes that the AN forum is the unofficial place for everything Canadian and it's just.. I dunno. I think it's be more organized to at least put CN elsewhere. n.n *shrug* ^^;

kaliko_rosa
08-13-2004, 12:20 AM
I agree with you Michi, I think CN deserves it's own strand. I mean, it doesn't specialize entirely in anime but it's quite a huge con considering all of its sections put together. And there just may be sci-fi or comic cosplayers etc on this site for such a purpose.

Besides, I too was kind of surprised to see how MUCH of the anime community in southern ontario was practically governed by the cosplay.com boards. It's more confusing though that it's only in the Anime North section... when you'd figure this section would be dead until next year.

I'd hope at least a CN one could be put up eventually ^_^.

Kia

Admin suggested in a thread many many months ago that perhaps it was time we just have a Canadian sub board, or sorts.
http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=29732
If other people think this is a good idea then perhaps we should PM Admin with a proposal. Perhaps our own sub boards for AN, CN and then another for other min or non anime related cons where everything else can be filtered into.
Just a suggestion.

Michi
08-13-2004, 12:41 AM
It just kinda feels like everything Canadian is being restricted to the AN forum, and it's supposed to be about that con.. A Canadian sub-board is a good idea... With sub-forums for AN, CN, and then topics for the other stuff perhaps? ^_^; I like it; I'm all for it. It just feels like we're confined here, and it gets confusing having other con stuff in a forum made for Anime North. =/

archangeli
08-13-2004, 12:53 AM
It either gets posted in this forum or it gets moved to "Other Conventions" which is what happened to the Anime Evolution (Burnaby, BC) thread as well as Kaijugal's CostumeCon 2010 thread.

I don't think it's such a big deal to have most of the Canadian cons tossed into the AN section, it's "cozy." If you consider how many cons take place in the US (in terms of size and scale and popularity) and the number that happen up here it's really not comparable.

There are maybe 4-5 "big" cons in Canada in the year (with AN and CNA topping the list). Admin suggested a separate section only if there was sufficient interest. I'm not sure how many people would warrant "sufficiency" but just be happy we have a place to chat about CNA plans at all.

In the Teahouse of Maple Moon (AN forums) there's strictly no discussion about CNA at all so at least here there's a board for us to meet, chat and plan things.

If you want to be REALLY technical, all of the "photoshoots" and meetup threads should be moved to the "Member Events and Gatherings" forum, but I think the moderators of this site have let us have the Anime North board as a general place to talk about all Canadian cosplay.

14 days and counting until CNA!! [and I get to fly away to Europe in 2... *mwahaha*]

Kia
08-13-2004, 12:55 AM
I agree. The point I made in that other thread, which other people have made before, is that if anyone posts anything Canadian related in any other board it seems to get overlooked, ignored. Everyone tends to congregate here, and in the end it's made everything quite cluttered.
If there's a way to fix this mess and yet still make it easy for threads to be see by the audience they were intended for then I'm all for it.

Michi
08-13-2004, 12:57 AM
...^^; Well, it might be kind of cozy, but to me it just feels kind of crowded and confusing at times. =/ Especially when you need to name every thread with what con it's going to be for. There are enough threads here to fill a separate CN forum, and so forth, so... I dunno. I certainly have interest in a Canadian sub-board. ^^ It would still be cozy; just a lot more organized. ^^

ah, but then Admin would need to be diplomatic about it and create sub-boards for European cons and Japanese cons too, right? We certainly have a number of "international" cosplayers on this site to warrant that.

Michi

There are a lot of international cosplayers, but there is not as much discussion for other places as there is for Canada... At least as far as I can tell. You see a thread here and there for a con in Japan or in Thailand but you don't get huge posts about planning groups and gatherings like you do for Canada.

Either way, Admin seemed okay with that... He said, "Well maybe this means it's about time for forums for non-American cons, like one for Canada, one for Japan, etc. Would this help?" ... Cosplay.com is big, and it would be neat to see it become a lot more internationally .. um.. represented. ^^ Or something. XD;

I agree. I'm sure that it's on Kyle's list of "1,000,000 cosplay.com member requests." lol Since he just redid the photo gallery layout there's been a flood of "help me!" threads in the "Site Help" forum, as well as other problems that the other mods can't deal with.

He's only human after all, and this site isn't his dayjob.. :dance:
I'm trying to see it from both sides. It'd be nice to have individual geographical sections to this board, but I'm not hoping for much. Things have been fine this way for a long time.

In any case, most of us that visit the AN boards are "regulars." For now, just read the forum titles :thumbsup:

Well yeah. I think it'd be something nice to have eventually.. Start out with Canada and if enough people from other countries want their own.. but.. I don't think that'd be anytime soon.. *scratches head* It's not like I'm totally stressed out about the current state of the AN forum and think it's so confusing I can't figure out anything.. XD I just think it'd be nicer to have things more organized and not just contained to the AN forum. *shrug* ^^;

Okay back to looking forward to CN. >< *falls over*

hehe.. wish i could do that...

i'm just sitting back and watching all of you stress out a freak over the 2 week deadline :rolleyes:
i'll be there in spirit, neh?

Michi

Haha! Only thing I'm stressing about is packing and moving to Canada four days before the con... Costumes/outfits for myself and my boyfriend are pretty much already taken care of, so I'm just sitting and waiting, really. CN will be a nice celebration of a successful move, I hope. X3

See you at another con then. ^___^ I'm sorry you can't make it to this one. ;.;

I'd suggest waiting to bring this up with Admin after he's done with all the photo gallery changes.

To answer an earlier question re: what costumes I'm making, I'm not sure which ones will be finished for the con. I'll have blacksmith again for just as long as it takes to get photos with the other RO cosplayers, my new Soul Calibur costume and Sophia Esteed from Star Ocean: Till the End of Time.

whether or not I get a third new costume finished remains to be seen, as I'm also making a Fate Linegod costume for my boyfriend. ^_^;; In other words, I'm screwed. ^_^;;;;;

>> In the Teahouse of Maple Moon (AN forums) there's strictly no discussion about CNA at all so at least here there's a board for us to meet, chat and plan things.
Actually, we ARE allowed to dicuss CNA, but in the past it always tunrs out to be everyone bashing it. If that didn't happen, we were more than welcome to talk about it there. ^^;;

I guess I'm like..the only one who is NOT confused about the current state of the AN forum. ^^;; I can find everything just fine. even back when I was a newbie everything was easy to search. Generally you know what threads talk about which con.

And it's true about threads getting overlooked when posted in other forums. I think Elemental posted about the Island Picnic in the Members Gatherings forum and it only got like..2-3 replies and very few views. <_<;

But I'm up for the idea of just a name change and some sub-forums. (Like the forum could be named "Canadian Cons and Cosplay Events" and had separate subforums for Anime North, CNAnime, Other cons, Cosplay events, etc. ^^;

I just don't wanna have to search through piles of US cons/event threads to find something close to me. lol X_X

Michi

I'm not confused about it.. It just.. gets a bit crowded/jumbled trying to find things for a specific event. I suppose that's the best way to put it.

I like your ideas, Mekou-chan. ^^

Well, this post needs to be revived XD

How is everyone doing on their costumes and anything else related to CNA? There is about a week left, how many of you are scrambling to finish? I know I am one of those people ^^;; Hopefully I'll be finished before the friday of the con...

Good luck to you all that need it ^^

On the subject of costumes, I've already lost any possibility of going as a Seigaku Regular from Prince of Tennis. So its come down to either Luffy from One Piece (I have the straw hat and shorts so far) or Kyoshiro Mibu (I have abasolutely nothing for him :bigtu: ).
In any words, if I get anything done over this week, I'll be the extremely taller version of Monkey D. Luffy rampaging through CNA, in his very first cosplay as well :thumbsup:

I really can't wait. If all fails, I won't cosplaying at all >_<

I'm... extremely tempted to finish a new costume for CN. I'd have to work on it after I arrive in Canada on Monday, meaning I'd start Tuesday... But knowing me if I really am determined about it I can finish it in time. >_> Now let's see if I really go through on it or not. XD

You're lucky you can do Luffy~ Unfortunately, I have to push my Luffy back (as it says in my signature) because of difficulties... It's because I can't find a straw hat ==;; It's so hard for me to find one that is circular.... *sighs*

I was going to re-wear my Ryoma from AN but changed my mind ^^;; So now, I only have two costumes XD

Hey has anyone looked over the schedules yet?
I printed all four of them, highlighted what i wanted to see, and then made a timetable and... I have tons of OVERLAP already, and there's still some people I wanna meet that aren't posted! I knew this was going to happen, too many good things happening! It's a shame I have to miss a bunch of them ;_;
Ahhhh, I'm going to be running around a lot XD
I'm so happy they posted early schedules though.

Indeed... I was surprised at how early it was posted. I did the exact same thing and over looked all of the schedules to find out what is happening. Plus I also printed out the floor plan and figured out where my fave dealers are and where I need to go when I first hit the dealer's room to pick up the things that won't last long.

Where are the schedules? Is it in this forum? Did I miss it somewhere?? Or is it somewhere on the site. I was also wondering, at CNA, when you go into the con do they give you a schedule then??

As for costumes, once I'm back at home on Sunday night I highly doubt I'm sleeping all week if I even hope to get something new done in time.

Oh yeah, and Jae, I'm going to be in need of your excellent haggling skills at CN, so don't wander too far. ;)

Does anyone know approx. when line-up begins for the masq? For contestants that is. I know it starts at 7. When do they make you get there to check in?

And when should the audience line-up? I wonder what time they let ppl in to sit down....

He he he

You shouldn't be asking me that question... because last time I started sitting around 4pm? 4:30? Right after the AMV's started. This year with the AMVs being at the same place, I *MIGHT* skip them to get a good seat. Thats around 5.

But who knows... ask security.

I have a question about the con on Sunday. It starts at 11am, right? So, does that mean that you can't get in or anything until then? And nothing is running? Cause my friend and I are going, but I have a dance thing for my Temple, where I have to be back there by 12pm and if nothing starts until 11, then there's not point in going for less then an hour before we have to leave. I'm okay with staying at the temple for a few hours, but I'm afraid my friend will get bored or sumthing. Ahhh...-_-' Sunday is my stressful day.

I'm guessing you can just stay in the lobby which is where most people hang out anyway. XD They just don't let you go upstairs or where ever it is this year until the actual time.

Ahh...alright, thank you very much. But now, my friend and I aren't planning to go on Sunday anymore. Ahh, geez, only 2 days until the con and things still aren't worked out. -_-; Ee-gah. I'm still not done my costume!! *runs off to finish*

The Dealer's room and probably all activities may not be open before 11 am but you can still get into the building (lobby/hallway that leads to the hotel/washroom lol). =) If there's a panel/showing that will be on Sunday and came make it, then I think you should go.

However, it seems Sunday will be very 'stressful' for you and I don't think it would be nice to leave your friend alone at the con. ^_^: Also, would you have enough energy for Sunday as Saturday is usually the time for everyone to stay up all night and be insomniacs! lol

Hehehe, yes, I'm afraid I won't be attending Sunday for, it is true, I'm a busy body. XD. My friend decided she didn't want to go Sunday anyway cause she thinks her feet will hurt and she likes to leave early on Sundays. As for staying up all night, not this time, heh, after the masq. is over, I've gotta bolt home and get some sleep, I have to wake up at 7am the next day for temple work. Yay! But thanks for your help anyway! Hehe, well, enjoy the con and hope to see ya there!! ^^
