Any ideas on how to make the armour breastplate, headpiece, gauntlets& sword? I've tried everything, but they either don't look right or are too flimsy.

see Amethyst Angel's website. She did armor for another costume, and it looks fantastic. Lot fo work though.

See this forum for the "how to do armor" info: how to do armor (http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4400)
Do a google search for interfacing help. That'll get you somewhere, at least.

hm.Thanks alot....I think I've finally got the armour down.
Three final questions for you:
1)Any ideas on how to do a *simple* sword prop?
2)Which glue should I use to glue a Semi-Stiff foil plate to cardboard
3)Finally,take a look at the thigh armour in This Picture (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/openpic.php?name=..%2F..%2Fscreenshots_library%2Fd ir_127%2Fvortal_pic_63590.jpg) and tell me:
If I already have the armour, how do I affix the armour to the pants/jeans?

Depends. You can do a "simple" sword prop by cutting one out of plywood or even cardboard.

Interfacing was covered in depth on a thread here recently; just search the forums and you should find it.
