I'm so new at this... I've got another forum on the wig section for that part... I need to make boots for May of Guilty Gear, and for Aika of Skies of Arcadia, also I wanna know how people go about making those large crazy buckles you find on characters like that. the small ones I'm sure wont' be hard to find...but I don't have the money or time to look for that currently. Thankfully I have til July. Anyway, on Aika's what's the beginner way to make a boot cover that doesn't have a seam in the front and what kind of materials should I get? yellow vinyl??? what's stuff like that run on average a yard? HELP!!! :waaaah:

You could probably glue them on, not too sure.

Do you have a pic of the character(s)?

Do you have a pic of the character(s)?Well...I'm short on cash, so I was hoping to just use the one set of shoes for both cosplays. It has the sole that I'd need for both...I didn't want to tear them up either as they're nice for 5 bucks. Thank you none the less. I might end up looking for a different pair of boots for Aika once I get some money back into the bank... ^^

Update: Nevermind... I'm thinking about buying some knee high boots and just tweaking them for Aika... something like http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/Products.aspx?DeptID=9452&CatID=11393&CatTyp=DEP&ItemTyp=G&GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=0a6eb6b&ProdSeq=5&Cat=tall+boots&Dep=shoes&PCat=women%27s+boots&PCatID=9642&RefPage=ProductList&Sale=&ProdCount=6&RecPtr=&SearchIn=0&ShowMenu=&TTYP=&ShopBy=0&PersistenceID=&RecordID=&SearchString=
http://www.shoeannex.com/noname27.html in the yellow.

Also on the belt buckles I have decided how to do them... for the most part. What I plan on doing, and my experiment on Aika's belt buckle says this will work for the most part, is to use the supplies of the art lab's sculpture room for this. I am "brazing/sodering" wires together in the shapes of the buckles, then using ducktape to "flesh-out" the shape. It worked amazingly well on the one I did, so I shall keep you updated in here of my progress...

I was curious about an ebay item... and if it would be enough for Aika's boot covers or not. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=28162&item=8165125049&rd=1#ebayphotohosting Any advice on this in the next hour or so would be very helpful... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v80/CocoaTiramisu/cosplay/art-02aika.jpg here's the picture again for reference...
