When + where is it? I'd be interested to attend as long as it isn't too far or in the middle of midterms.

reccacon.com -- May 24 in Pittsburg, California.

Perhaps three days was too much for them last year? Moo. I'll probably drop by.

cool! :-) It's at a college in Pitts., so it's pretty low-key. the kickoff party was kinda lame, so I'm hoping the con will be better.

I heard that reccacon was going to be a one day event that last a couple of hours.. so its more like an event. I might drop by to see how it goes. last year was ok.

Well last year there were two days, though I didn't manage to make it either day.. I wonder what happened this time. Anyway, ehm, I'm gonna be cosplaying Yabuki Shingo from KOF 98 I believe, and if my friend and I participate in the masquerade (if there is one?) I'll be Shiratori Azusa from Ranma 1/2 as well.

there's a masquerade, although it was more of a walk on event. there were like 2 or 3 groups who did something, the rest of us did a walk on. the funny thing it was like over in 30 mins or so ^_^; It was alright but like there were times when I was hella bored cause there wasn't much to do but oh well... This year I hear it's only 1 day probably cause 2 were too much for it. it's like from 12noon to 12midnight or something I heard...

Yeah, it's an all-nighter like the kick-off party. Wonder if they're training people for how the con's gonna be?.. ^^;

I want to go, but I want it to be worth my time and money....what do you guys think....I live in LA so is it worth it?

I will be going again! I was the Eiko in the masquerade contest who won "Best Portrayal of Character" ^,^;; I just hope my ex doesn't go ;.;

I went last year but aI didn't get to see the masquerade. They ran out of tickets, and I didn't even know you needed them. Mink if you live in L.A. I don't think its worth that long of a drive to come up. It's a very small convention.

yeah if u live in L.A i dont think it would be worth the drive.. considering it only lasts for a couple of hours. u will spend more time driving than at the event.
