I am going to Otakon this year as a female version on Ash Ketchum and my friend jen is doing a pikachu girl. I would like to know if anyone has any ideas on what to wear for a female ash costume. Thanks

Are you trying to do a real cutsie girlish Ash? If so, I'd suggest wearing low riding jeans, a belly shirt (like Quinn from "Daria") only black w/ a chibi pikachu face on it or something, and be sure to have hair coming out of your hat in pigtails or something. Well, that's how'd I do it anyway :)

BTW, I love Ash Ketchum!

Just adding to what was already said a sparkly belt that matches a color on the top at an angle would be fun.

Yeah the designers of Pokemon tend to dress their girls in belly shirts, so that's probably the most important thing. Also cropping the jacket to just above the hips, instead of around the butt where he has it will make you girlier. Low-rise jeans that are a little tight, askew belt, maybe some Converse chucks instead of tennis shoes, and hair in pigtails out of the hat would be cute. That's my opinion though.

Have you considered designing Lolita outfits based on both of them? I've done an EGL pikachu and have a picture in my gallery.

I think a Lolita Ash would be very cute, esspecialy with a pikachu
