Chii has so many dresses, and a lot of them are intricate...

If i cant figure out exactly how to make one, would it be absolutely horrible to just get white corset/bustier and pair it with a skirt, white choker, white stockings, a lot of white lace/ribbons, and a pair of pretty white shoes?

I think it would look ok

It sounds fine ^_^ Though, I don't think it would be as eye-popping. Chii doesn't wear JUST white. Why not use baby blue or light pink ribbons and lace? or maybe a pair of stocking like these (http://www.sock-dreams.com/_shop/pages/socks_detail_ProductID_75.php) in light pink or baby blue? Or make/buy a light pink petticoat to go under the skirt? ^_^ All white wouldn't be horrible (far from it, actually), but it won't stand out as much and doesn't show detail as well. ^_^ Just my opinion! And sorry if I offended you! Hope I didn't! >.<

I think it'd be fine to do just that...because I've seen a bunch of cosplayers who cosplay chii in frilly white/blue/pink things. It works really well because Chii is that sort of character. But one thing that MUST be there of course, is the chii ears. ^_^ well duh. But good luck on your cosplay - I hope it comes out very well!!

Well you know, I have some old things lying around, a corset as well from Fredricks of Hollywood. It's really lacey. If you want I could sell it to ya or sommin but if you're getting a commissioned Chii official costume - I'd say go for it.

yea I got a chii outfit, not those though, from Hong Kong and it cost me 20 bucks but got to my house really fast. I ended up buying chii's brown dress although I really want one of those. Maybe if I make some serious cash and move out of my parents house then I will buy freyas. I don't think I could explain why I have that outfit and want to go away with my boyfriend to some convention with it.

Hey - show me a picture of your new chii outfit! I want to see!! Oh, yes, I know what you mean about wanting to move out of your parents house. But unfortunately for me, all my money goes to cosplaying and buying wigs now. Gosh this really stinks sometimes, but it'll be okay in the end - your own place with your boyfriend and enough money to cosplay - YAY! ^___^

The chii outfit I bought (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5983706916&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT) Although when my boyfriend and I finally have enough money to have a place of our own we said we would get married. I don't think I could live with someone that I wasn't married too.

Mikimoto- id like to look at what youre talking about selling, all im finding is solid white stuff. :-\

And i was looking for getting the ears commissioned, i have no money for a real commission. hehe.

I think the wig is probably going to be the most frustrating thing to find. I'll probably just end up getting it off amphigory or something.

livvylove- omg! that would be perfect, if i had the money...its the picture of the outfit i wanted to make as well. *stares*

thanks you guys. :-)

Heey! What's up - well unfortunately I've been taking pictures lately with my cell phone camera, as you can very well see in my gallery. ::HACK!:: I hope you don't mind...

The corset I may be selling is a white corset from Fredricks of Hollywood, have you heard of that shoppe? It's quite lovely. Anyhoo...yes yes, OH! The wig is quite easy mmmmhm! Just go to a wig shoppe and ask for help. Always, always, always, ask for help - if they're selling wigs, they must know at least enough to help you on your way - never be afraid to ask questions, and the best way to care for your wigs. Show them pictures of Chii too. That'll help. I'm cosplaying Makie and Yuna soon, and I went down to their shoppe with pictures and they found me the best wigs.

I hope I haven't rambled and I've provided some help, hm?? If you have more questions, feel free to ask!

Oh! I love those dresses. My dad said he would possibly pay for half, so I could buy Chii's dress. ^^ That way, I would only have to save up about 95 dollars. Where is the best place to buy Chii ears? Or what is the best thing to use to make them?

Just make them out of foam sheets, that is what most of the ones on ebay use anyways

I used paper to figure out how I wanted it before I cut my foam. If I end up making some nice chii ears I will probably make a tutorial too with a template to print out.

yay for templates.

i fooled around with some paper too just now, it looked allright, not exact though.
