Although I plan on taking a nice long holiday for a the last month of summer, I need to establish some ground work for next year’s festival, so first on the agenda is our date(s), with our success this year, the festival committee has been throwing around the idea of extending next year’s event to two days, but before we can come to that conclusion we want to know how many of you would like to see this happen, or how many would like to see it remain as a one day function.
So let us know what you think and vote on the attached polls!

I think that staying with one day is best for now. Right now this is the best small con but until it get's a little bigger I think another day would be too much for too little.

Another question that should be asked, if you would like to see it be two days would you want it to be Friday-Saturday or Saturday-Sunday?

From experience I have to agree with Otaking, one day is the best garuntee of staying strongest, particularly with the already taxed limited staff that you have.
You're doing a great job, but refine the one day con before you give yourself more headaches by tackling a three day convention. You would probably get more out of expanding on the great things you already have for your saturday program.
If you do decide to extend one day however, I have a suggestion. Why not have your dinner with guest changed to a sunday brunch? It wasn't at all nice having it schedualed against the masquerade this year. :(
I hope you don't mind me saying so.
Cheers and best wishes whatever you decide. :)
Added: oops! Mekou, to answer your question, Personally I like the Saturday/Sunday option (as you know I work midnights on Friday which nix's any friday night congoing for me). Moreover and not considering myself sat-sunday is a better combination for people who have weekday jobs or are attending summerschool.

I will ensure that next year the programming department will not schedule anything that will conflict with the dinner next year.
Thank you all for your valuable input, I will not extend the timeframe of next years event if the majority of the replies have agreed so, as some once wise told me;
“you have to learn how to crawl before you can walk or run” (Tamara).
I'm very glad you all enjoyed yourselves though this year, I've yet to receive negative feedback.
