View Full Version : Submitting complants about the hotel to the Better buisness bureau and other sites

Hi everyone,

I did not work as oni-con staff this year I was the girl with the purple spiked hair working for J-House Entertainment so you prob saw me working the dealers room. But all of my friends are the people who staffed this con as I was Jrock guest relations for it last year.

also please note that this hotel is not the Park Plaza anymroe it went bankrupt 2 months ago? and became the Houston Grand Plaza... here is the correct info for the hotel...

If you have a complaint with the hotel or if you feel they wronged you in any way or were dissatisfied. what you should know if you were not aware is of these following things...

1) parking was supposed to be free for all oni-con attendees as it states anywhere online that the hotel is listed that they supply complementary parking to all its guests.
2) The AC was purposefully turned off in areas of the hotel. They even told the dealers that they would be turning the AC off at night and wouldnít resume the AC till 8am. This was for areas such as the dealers room and hallways. eventually it just became a random lets turn off the AC in this room/hall now!

I know there are a lot of other issues this weekend as well.

Pleas note that the BBB does not handle complaints that are solely based on the consumer's dissatisfaction with a company's prices;

so making a complaint that the 20$ parking was too much isnít going to work you will need to specify more clearly that you were told that it was free or something else. also if you look the hotel up anywhere online its says that the hotel supplies Complimentary Parking go to here to see what Iím talking about http://hotelplusportal.com and enter in the hotel info.


So please if you had a problem with the hotel submit a complaint about it, the more they receive and the more info they have the better. If no one complains then it will make proving that there was a problem will be hard for the convention.
