dont know your skill level, so i'm gonna pretend you dont know too much, since your'e asking. its pretty much a short sleeved zip hoodie thats modified here and there. its short, so get a girl's version, but get a large one, so that its baggy looking, to start off.

yeah, i don't know too much, lol. since i don't have much experience, should i just get a girl's blk hoodie and just modify it or should i get a pattern that shows u how to make one? and what kind of fabric should i be looking for?

Don't forget to make it cling to your body. Or else it'll look like a normal Autumn jacket and tacky (as you're supposed to be KH2 Sora :P).

I started my costume some time ago... not a lot is finished, but I have pics of my Keyblade, necklace, the gloves I'm working on, and the jacket. I just cut down a black hoodie I had and had my girlfriend sew the white trim on.

i like the gloves and the necklace but i don't want to make the jacket part of the costume from a blk hoodie dat's modified. i wanna make a pattern but idk wat kinda material i should use to make the jacket kind of "cling" to me. does anyone know wat i mean?

actully a hoody would not work all that well, because the jacket is atully fitted. more like a shortsleeve womens jacket with a hood...

I made one a as a commision if you wanna take a look and get some Ideas..

but as far as patterns, I make my own, but I would suggest finding a jacket pattern (or you can use a hoddy and just fit it to your body) and useing that, just add a zipper and hood. As for fabric, cotten would be fine, how it "clings" depends on how you fit it.

thank you sooo much for the help! i've been waiting for replies for a hell of long time. i'll use ur pics as a reference. cotton's a good idea, but i have a hoodie at home that uses this material dat makes the hood part pop out more. im find out wat that material is, but in the meantime i'll figure out wat kinda pattern i should use to. my friend could help me out with dat.

but dang, wat am i gonna do about the baggy pants? help!!

ok the pants are easy, there a pair of blue pants with riding chaps so look for a cowboy costume pattern with them and all you would have to do is widen the leg (of course it also shorten the langth a bit), gather and put elastic at the bottom so it "puffs". if you want it to "puff" more I've seen two ways its been done, stuffed and wire.
