View Full Version : Sora (Master Form) Kingdom Hearts 2 Need Help!

Ok, here's my dilemma. On Sora's Master Form costume there are these little things that look a bit like Independence signs on his pants and jacket. I can't for the life of me figure out a good way to get the little white lines around them. I thought I could just stitch over the shape if I drew it onto the fabric with a really short zigzag stitch, but it doesn't look very professional. My mom suggested using piping or bias tape and sewing that on, but I know without trying that it won't bend around the sharp corners smoothly. The only other things I could think of was either using acrylic paint and a stencil and hoping it came out smoothly or iron-on transfer sheets. My printer's crappy though, and I don't think it has white ink, so that kinda nixes the iron-on idea.

So, uh, after that LONG paragraph of rambling, what would you guys suggest?

i think painting would be your best bet... just be careful and don't knock over paint or smear any. ^ ^

I second that: Paint it.

I was wary of painting myself, but found it to be both easier and less time consuming than other methods; and the finaly results look excellent.
I recomment using a fabric paint. Unlike regular paint, Fabric paint is more flexible and can bend with the fabric without cracking or warping. You can buy fabric paint at most craft stores.

I'd say make a stencil so the shapes are the same and then paint it :)

Thanks guys! I did end up painting the chaps, and they looks great. I couldn't find fabric paint though, so I used regular ol' acrylics. They don't bend as easily as I'd thought they would, and have cracked once, but it's easy enough to fix. Guess I'm stuck with handwashing my chaps. XD
