Hey, I was just woundering what (if any) hotels you guys are staying at. I want to know where I should stay. Just askin'.

I reserved mine at the Anaheim Hilton -- it's the one right next to the convention center.

You should probably research different hotels cause they vary in price.

I took the West Coast Anaheim. They dont ask for the one night advance...

I am staying at the Castle Inn Anaheim. It is only two blocks away from Expo and cheap, that is good for me, b/c as you know students don't have much money ;)

Personally I like having the hotel as close to the convention center as possible. Having it a block or two away is kind of a hassle. But if you don't mind, then go for it.

I'm staying at the Hilton ^^

I'll be staying at the Radisson; fairly close, and slightly cheaper than the nearest 3 O.O besides.. I did some price fishing and most if not all rooms are booked that weekend for the Hilton and such...

Which is actually CLOSER to the convention center though? The West Coast, or the Marriott? ._.; Hehe, also, why is the West Coast so much cheaper than the Marriott? ._. Anyone familiar with these hotels? :/ Because now the Hilton is sold out.

The Marriot is just across the way from the Hilton. The West Coast is a bit furthur away. It depends on where you plan on spending most of your time.
The West Coast is a bit further from the Anaheim Convention Centre and the Mariott (about half a block to a block I believe), but is right next to the Hilton.

AX's website should have a map of the locations of the primary hotels in the area (Hilton, Marriot, West Coast, Quality Inn, etc.)

Yeh. Its a half block away. Um...as for why its cheaper....the same reason some hotels are cheaper than others. Different types of accomodations....booking....and sometimes...they're jsut being competitve. =o :: ikes 89 bucks for an AX room though ::

03-18-2003, 03:23 AM
Im staying at the Dupre hotel...its a bit farther away, but I got a double suite for 99 dollars a nite. So 8 of us can stay together! Wee....but from what I hear, a great deal of the hotels are already competely booked...I think I made reservations like 5 months ago!

03-18-2003, 07:16 AM
._.; just as bad as the hotels being sold out already for Otakon. Foolishness :p *has a room for AX now at the Marriott... and for Otakon at the Hyatt*

The Hilton is now sold out. Check the website for more details.

I just checked out the prices for the hotels near the convention center. *Faints* They cost a lot!! Where shall I come up with the extra cash for the hotels? Too bad I don't know anybody that lives in Anahiem. :p

Hotel rooms are really expensive, but if its split between a bunch of people, it does seem that much. Or you can do what i did, get a friend to pay for the whole freakin thing and crash. Actually he's just a good friend so i guess i lucked out. but 120 for a single per night is really steep.

*Heh heh* The only hotel that is in my price range is the Quality Inn. That's a nice enough hotel for me. And it's cheap compared to the others.
