Hey folks,

Word hasn't spread far enough yet so I thought I'd let folks on cosplay.com know about this fabulous event that we're having at AOD2006. Bidding ends Thursday at the latest. Here's the info:

Where: Location is yet to be revealed but we have reservations at a very nice restaurant in San Francisco. ; )

When: Friday, August 4, 2006 at 7:00pm in San Francisco, California

Why: We would like to give our fans a fantastic opportunity to get up close and personal with our fabulous guests. The highest bidders for the dinner tickets will recieve this wonderful opportunity as well as a scrumptious dinner (on us).

Merlin Crossingham: Mr. Crossingham was second unit director and lead animator for the characters Wallace and Gromit in the award-winning Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit feature film.

Greg Dean: Creator, writer, and artist of Real Life Comics, a popular web comic that serves as window into his life and a commentary on the pop culture world around us.

Brad DeMoss: actor, video editor, and general handyman in the world of animation, having acted in the anime Nazca, edited dozens of award-winning anime music videos and served as host and emcee at numerous conventions and events including last year’s AOD.

Vic Mignogna: Mr. Mignogna is one of the most charismatic, talented and well-respected anime voice actors in the business today, having voiced Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, Broly in Dragon Ball Z and Shigeru Aoba in Neon Genesis Evangelion among many other successful and exciting roles.

PMBQ: Independent comic book artist PMBQ returns for her third AOD as one of the strongest personalities in the scene today, having succeeded with both self-publishing and merchandising of her marquee title, Tea Club.

Gilles Poitras: Mr. Poitras is an author and expert on Japanese anime, culture, and history, and their integration into pop culture.

Ken Pontac: Involved in such works ranging from Bump in the Night to the Happy Tree Friends, Mr. Pontac is a true comedian and visionary.

Marv Wolfman: He is one of greatest comic book writers of the 20th century, having teamed up with George Perez on the groundbreaking Crisis on Infinite Earths and co-creating many of the Teen Titans. Mr. Wolfman has also created the character, Blade the Vampire Hunter, re-invented Lex Luthor, and done extensive writing for both cartoons and video games.

Tommy Yune: Mr. Yune has been working for over a decade in the animation and video game industries and is currently creative director at Harmony Gold, overseeing all things Robotech, one of the most popular and successful anime series ever.

AOD2006 Directors: The awesome directors of AOD2006 shall also grace the dinner with their presence. Having joined forces in early 2003, they've come leaps and bounds above their own expectations to bring you AOD2006.
