Well, after Otakon this year, I have finally decided to upgrade from my old Kodak CX7300. I'm currently looking at getting a Kodak V603 and was wondering if anyone else uses this camera and what their thoughts on it are (especially versus the V610 if anyone has that). Most of the reviews that I have read seem to praise it, but I would also like some consumer opinions. Thanks!

Obligatory "check http://www.dpreview.com/ " post.
(Though the chances are high that you've already done this, just wanted to make sure.)

I would help more, but my kodak is from 2000, and so my first hand Kodak related information is out of date.

It's a nice solid camera, I've played with my friends a bit, and he likes it a lot, although I'll know better how he likes it when He gets back from turkey. it doesn't have even close to the zoom of the V610, but the 610 is about 150$ more than the V603, and has several more features, like a 10x zoom, compared to the 3x of the 603. My suggestion is to go to a place that sells those two camera, so you can play around and ccompare the 2 of them.

few of my students have the cam... other than the "KODAK Color Science Image Processing"... IMHO where pix seem to be too brightly colored by the chip... the V603 is well constructed... and have enuf features for the value of $$$... when everything else being same... i'll usually suggest that you check on how much the spare batteries will cost ya... and go from there ;)

MSRP $299.95
V603 (6.1mp... 3x op zoom)
C875 (8.0mp... 5x op zoom)
