Does anyone know anything about this convention? I am assuming they are in their first year as there is no information on guests, or vendors on the con site.
The hotel seems expensive, but I live close enough to just sleep at home. So I really would love to attend, if I only knew something more of their plans and objective.
oh, the con site:

I wondered about that. I am also curious how the usual con guests are viewing the boycott.
By the by, your spike costume is the best ever!

I signed up on their message board, but the confirmation email link didn't work. I emailed them and got a response once, and I emailed them back clarifing a misconception they had about error and have gotten no further response. Wanted to ask some questions, but cann't currently.

If you replace the word "ikasuconboards" with "forum" it works. Their links are just all screwed up.
What a wonderful idea! I froze my butt of taking photos at Newport. (because they wouldn't allow photography inside) We need a Cincy cosplay club or something anyway...
I'm in the North Fairmount area, which is okay I guess. They celebrate new years by firing shotguns all night!

>I dont know why they would stage a first con in such an expensive and kinda dangerous area...I mean I live in a rough neighborhood but theres no way Im gonna stroll around downtown dressed up in Cincy
Actually, the area where the con iteslf is pretty safe.I can get stats to back that up too.
And also, advice from us would be that if you *must* walk around in your cosplay outfits, try not to walk around alone.
