Hey everyone,

The SF Weekly published their article about Yaoi-Con, as I remember they were there interviewing people at the con. They wrote a looong article about Y-con, and if you didn't get the issue that has it, you can read it on their website:

Hm...

It's fair to note, here, that they didn't seem to get any information which they 'got from interviewees' from their interviewees. They also made some fairly sweeping generalizations and violated the agreed-on-terms of their being press at the con as well as using certain photographs without permission. This is all aside from painting the yaoicrowd as porn-lusty overweight fanpeople with nothing better to do who only barely just cover their hind-ends in the legal sense. That article, I hate to say it, is tripe.

I had my doubts about them when they were going around, interviewing cosplayers, and it was amusing hearing them attempt to pronounce the names of the anime characters people were cosplaying.

I wonder how the New York Times article about Y-con was like, since they too were there at the con, interviewing people.
