I went to AUSA for the first time and enjoyed it. Is Katsucon a bigger event?

I'd say Katsucon falls in line with Anime USA in size. I don't know any official numbers though. This is no Otakon.

The hotel is bigger then AUSA, but it is small compared to otakon. the hotel it is in has a larger conference area if I remember right so more rooms.

Anime USA gets around 3000 now and last Katsucon had around 7000.
I haven't been to AUSA since the first one I wanted to go this year but my friends want to go to Katsu. AUSA looked really good this year too. Didn't get to see Crispin Freeman *Watery eyes*
Otakon now that's huge

Bigger than a breadbox but smaller than a supernova.
Or roughly twice the size of two Anime USA's. Otakon would be about....eight times the size?

Thanks! I'll definitely go this year.
Now I just have to figure out how to stop my camera's flash from white-washing everyone's costumes out compensating for bad hotel lighting.

^^;; Katsucon is about twice the size of AUSA in numbers... It's a fun con if you know what you're doing. LOL.
I didn't like it too much last year. Not enough good programming. But this year is going to be better from what I hear.
