“Mascot Idol” Submissions To Be Accepted at Katsucon 2005

DVD Vision Japan.com, in association with AN Entertainment, AnimeNation.com, ADV Films, Central Park Media, AnimEigo, FUNImation, Artsmagic DVD, SquirrelWorks.com, and VIZ Entertainment is pleased to announce the “Mascot Idol” contest which runs from 15 January to 1 June 2005.

DVD Vision Japan will be accepting in person submissions at Katsucon 2005 for anyone interested in signing up for our “Mascot Idol” contest. The event will take place in the lobby of the Marriott Crystal Gateway on Friday, the 18th of February. Submissions will start at 7PM and will run until 9PM. If you are interested in joining us, please email us at sakura@dvdvisionjapan.com with your name and costume. If you can not make Friday, but you would still like to participate, let us know and we will do our best to arrange a time for you.

We would also like to let everyone know that you do not have to make your own Sakura costume to enter the contest, although we won’t discourage you from doing so. As stated in the original press release, “ The selected model will be presented a full costume” so if you have been holding off submitting because you were worried that you had to make the costume, worry no longer.
