My first sewing endeavor! This was technically my third costume, but I'm not sure if I completed Shion or Izumi first. First of all, vinyl is a royal bitch to sew on... I was so frustrated.

So, let's start with the boots. I found those at a local costume shop for 70$ (ow x.x) but managed to get them one size too small. NEVER get the perfect fit for your foot when it comes to bitchboots! x.x I also got elbow length vinyl gloves there some time beforehand and just edited them to be the right length.

Next up, the booty shorts. Well, I went to Hot Topics and got a pair of vinyl pants (and also the fishnet shirt/tights I needed). Those my mom helped me cut off and they're actually pretty comfortable. ^_^ Hemming them sucked, we had to use tissuepaper so the machine wouldn't stick and then manage to pick out every tiny bit. ~_~

The vest... was made out of left-overs from the pants and gloves. We first made from a pattern a similar vest (out of muslin) and fixed it. Then we used it on the vest. Now, my mom did the collar mostly by herself because for the life of me I couldn't figure out the stitch she was doing. (My mom used to be in SCA, she's an excellant costumer and willing to help me if I'm stuck. ^_^)

Hm... that's all for sewing. Make up was done with black and white shades, and the line-scar things were done with liquid eyeliner. Lipstick was NOT black lipstick, I hate that stuff.. it doesn't look right. I put on a random shade and went over it with black eyeliner. ^_^
