This costume has 5 pieces to it - a 4 hooped hoop skirt, the white under skirt, which is fully lined, the pink over dress, which is also lined, a pair of under sleeves, and the apron. The red trim is biased tape that was placed on using steam a seam tape and ironed in place, then stitched on.
I've worked on this costume, on and off, for the past three years.
