Renee and Joy needed a Fuu for their Samurai Champloo group. I hadn't watched much of Samurai Champloo yet, but I did like what I had seen and I like pink, so I offered to cosplay her. The kimono and wig were pretty simple but the flowers were such a huge pain -_-;. I wish I just used applique or Heat N' Bond to do them instead of painting because it took a LOT of tries until I was finally satisfied with the color and texture.

The faux obi I made is about half the length and uses the half the cords of a real one due to lack of resources at the time. However, I still assembled it as accurately as I could, particularly the drum bow in the back.

The darn shoes -_-;. I really tried to find accurate ones but had no luck, so I tried to find platform brown flipflops. No luck there either! I just had to settle for regular flipflops. Grargh.
