Probably the most detailed costume that I've made to date! Decided upon this cosplay after finding a toy Elmo in a local charity shop ^^; It's also probably the costume that gave me the biggest headache with regards getting the details right!

I had to make a number of changes between the costume I made and the original - for example, I had to use gold-on-black spiderweb-patterned tulle (with black backing) rather than the gold and black patterned fabric on the original (as I couldn't find anything closer).
Another difference (and I'm nitpicking here) was the colour of the rivets on the sides of the bodice (the original had silver, I used black-ish ones as that's all I had, and budget didn't allow me to afford more!)

An issue I found myself fighting with was the wig colour! Eventually I had to go for the closest colour I could find; the same went for the extension hair I curled to add to it. (In an entire shop full of extension hair of all kinds, there wasn't an exact match. It made my perfectionist streak unhappy!)

The back of the costume took a lot of guesswork, as musicians don't tend to pose with their backs to the camera (therefore I lacked any reference picture better than a dark screencap, aaargh)

Overall, the costume was relatively easy to make (the most fiddly part was the makeup!) and despite all the differences I ended up (having to) make, I'm happy with the result!
