This was a very poor costume. I hope to completely remake it sometime. It was originally for the Bristol Comic Expo and we were going to do the Hare Hare Yukai however decided against it because people couldn't make it (Ah, the days when Hare Hare Yukai wasn't THAT overdone!). However a few friends wanted a photoshoot and so I whipped up a quick Haruhi costume.

The top is a cheap one from Primark with the collar and cuffs sewn on. Yeaaah when I remake it I'll make it baggy like it's supposed to be, not clingy.

The skirt was made from polycotton which was a big mistake. I had no idea how to make pleats either so that this was a failed attempt. If I remake it mark my words they will be proper pleats and will be made from cotton or cotton drill!

The armband is also made from polycotton and the kanji was drawn on with felt tip. The only decent thing about this costume, because it's perfectly accurate xDDD

Wig is a cheap party wig because I didn't have an eBay account at the time, nor did I think that party wigs were bad quality (this was okay actually, one of the better party wigs) and the ribbons were gripped on to stay in place.
