This was a last minute decision costume, like 3-4 weeks before Otakon. I saw on the forums that there was going to be a Tactics photo shoot at Otakon, and since it's my favorite game I wanted to join in as something I knew no one else would cosplay as: an Onion Knight!

It's also the cheapest cosplay I have ever done (20 bucks tops), considering I used mostly scrap material and props from some other projects. The helmet is my personal favorite part. It's made of a styrofoam wreath base (carved to fit my head), wire hangers, fun foam, dollarstore flexable cutting board (backed with fun foam for the visor), feather trim on wire,hand dyed raw silk (backed with fun foam), and an a-load of super77 and hot glue. Hand painted all the faux metal parts with car chrome spray paint and some black acrylic. So much fun! I loved flipping it over so people could see the inside. Side note: it has absolutely no breathability, and was hot as hell. Definitly becomming a winter con only cosplay in the future.
