It took 6 months to get it to the point where I thought it was convention ready. There are still somethings I need to remake and finish so that I feel it is actually done. This was the most complex thing I have ever done in my entire life. It was my first real experience using Wonderflex and Resin, both of which I needed a lot on in order to make this costume work. I also used a lot of model magic, craft foam, wood, plastic, metal, just about anything you can think of XD There are 900 feathers involved in the 3 sets of wings (6 wings total). The top two are the largest and are fully extendable through a pully system that goes across my back and around to the front so that I can put them up or down at will.
