My second 'real' cosplay costume. Always under revampage. Fun to run around in!
Although I haven't played FFX all the way though yet, I absolutely love Rikku's spunky personality. One of the most interesting things about this costume, I think, is the hair. Long before FFX2 was even concept ideas, I had decided to go with the many-braid look for Rikku, you know, just to be different. And now, I can use that same hair piece for any future X2 cosplays... O_o

This costume is my most frequently worn costume, AND is now currently [retired]....
The last hurrah was for Chibi-Con 2003. Thanks to everyone who gave their overall support for this costume! ^_^
I can honestly say [over a year later] that a LOT went into this costume, and thus 3 renditions later it IS truly ready to retire. [Each rendition was really only a slight change.]
It all started with UM Anime's 10 Years of Anime Event coming up, so I had to throw something together for it. I had already started to slowly piece it together for Hallowe'en 02, [to which I wore it ANYWAY,] but I ended up having to complete it in 3 days... :)
I wore it to JAAWathon '03, and realized how gross the shorts and ribbons looked, so for Chibi-Con '03 I totally revamped those same points and added some battle gear.
[I've ALWAYS been tinkering with this outfit... a serious year of work has gone into this one. ^_~]
