Pullum Purna

Last Updated: 09-24-2007

I had been thinking about doing this costume for a long time because I just love the harem-girl look. It was finally made when I was invited to join a Street Fighter Group that was getting together at Neko-con R. Even though hardly anyone recognized me, I still got a lot of positive comments about the costume ^_^.

VEST: The vest was made out of satin using Simplicity pattern (#8284) as a base. The pattern had to be altered to resemble Pullum's vest. The designs were painted on using gold fabric paint.

PANTS: The pants were made out of satin using Simplicity pattern (#8284).

TOP: I made my own pattern for the top, and attached it to one of my bikini tops with safety pins.

SLIPPERS: The slippers were bought and then painted gold with fabric paint.

ARM PIECES: I made my own patterns for these by tracing around my arms.

NECKLACE: I purchased the necklace, and added on the purplish-pink stones.

BRACELETS: I bought the bracelets, painted them gold, and attached them to one another with wet paint.

EARRINGS: The earrings were bought, and altered slightly with metal shears.

HAIR CLIP: The hair clip was bought.
