Maybe I'm just easily infatuated with eccentric, bespectacled girls, but I really love Lucca Ashtear. Her confident, self-reliant, quirky personality makes her truly endearing, yet she harbors a serious side that makes her more complex than she might seem. I guess you could say Lucca is somewhat of a personal role model to me. At the very least, she's certainly my favorite character from Chrono Trigger.

I can't take credit for making the whole costume. My friend Chris' mother sewed the tunic, scarf and bag, and I made the helmet with the help of my friends Chris and Diane. I created the hammer on my own, and the rest of the costume is store-bought.

The tunic and accessories have gone through several phases. This is what I call Lucca v2.0. Until I make some repairs to it, I won't be wearing it again, but v3.0 is coming soon!
